Hello!

This is my first ever forum message!! Woohoo!
OK, I am currently constructing a website in Dreamweaver MX. For my picture gallery page, I have many photo thumbnails displayed within an I/Frame, which, when clicked, open in new browser window. The problem is that the scrolling frame keeps re-setting itself to the top, which means the user has to scroll down and locate the last thumbnail they clicked. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

Hoping to hear from somebody soon.

I dont follow - if the images just open in a "_blank" new window, it shouldn't affect the opener at all. Are you sure it doesn't refresh or redirect the iframe or its parent as well?

No the page is not refreshed. I used the behaviour "Open New Browser Window...when clicked" on the thumbnails, which are displayed within the I/frame. The small window opens to display the chosen photo (405pixels x 305pixels) which is fine. However, the I/frame scrollbar jumps automatically back to the top once I have clicked on a thumbnail.

Oh, and it's a frames-based website. I was wondering if maybe this was the reason?
