Please, suggest me HTML validation software, cause markup generated by my FrontPage is quite bad - i have to delete comments, /li and other elements manually. And it adds meta GENERATOR tag always.

I have found single suitable application - Anetto HTML Candy. But it is ver. 1.0 and it is in developing.

I do all my HTML is Notepad (on windows) ane Emacs (on Linux). I think it's much easier to write it myself, rather than using an HTML editor. As 4dept noted, they tend to add a lot of garbage code. If people would just learn to compress images and write optimised HTML, the internet would be a LOT faster

I like DreamWeaver because it color-codes all of the code for me, HTML it's nice.. using PHP it helps a lot... I rarely use the design section of dreamweaver, only to check it if it is looking right how I'm coding it

I hand code myself, alway have, always will, if you want anyway complaint code, stay well away from frontpage, it is evil and code it generates is longer than war and peace.
As for dreamweaver , im not the biggest fan but it is the best of those "drag and drop" design programs.
