It looks interesting, but how is it easier if you just get a free blog scrip and install it? Not to say you get your own unique blog, but wordpress for example is ready to go.

Well if you're just in it for a blog get a wordpress or go to livejournal. If you want something personal and want something you yourself and can upgrade and manipulate with multiple upgrades I'd suggest going with this. It's easy to skin easy to add shout boxes comments etc.
Not too mention increases your PHP knowledge if you're in the learning process (if you take time to read).

I've created my own blog and then i developed it into a CMS and then into a forum then back into a CMS

After than I sold it for about $150 with a developed site.

That is very cool. I'm definetely going to be using that. It's always nice creating your own blog like that. You feel more proud afterwards instead of using www.blogger.com or something like that.
