alright, i'm setting up a website for my college, umass, since i can easily promote and grow it online.

it's going to include a vbulletin forum for buying/selling used books, spot for students to rank professors, and whatever other content i decide to add.

i'm pretty good with web design, both html and photoshop, but i can't decide on what would be the best design layout for the site, or how to lay it out. i don't need anything complicated by ANY means, but just trying to think ahead for expanding the site in the future.

any ideas?

Hey dpak

congrats on going to umass its a great school! were practicly around the corner hehe

For somethign like this i think i would use a Content mangagment system. sort of like phpnuke but more designed for your needs. or maybe a vbulletin portal system. CMS scripts are designed for community websites.

alright, i will look into it.

another question i have is, i am setting up another websie where people will be able to comment on political articles. i would like to have a small form below the article that will just say:

Name:
Email:
comments:
Liberal/Conservative radio button

i'd like it to be emailed to me, since i want to review the comments before posting them, rather than setting up some kind of blog. can anyone help me out with the way to go? probably a mailto script, but i'm not sure how to put one together exactly.
