Well here we go:
Start up adobe photoshop and make a new document 365*125 pixels. Press 'D' on your keyboard to make the settings and colors default. Grab some grunge brushes (if you need any, downlaod them from GreyCobra

Step 1: Brush with one of the brushes provided. Brush randomly but don't brush too much.

Step 2: Make a new layer, switch the colors from black to white and set the new layer to overlay and brush with a different brush.

Step 3: Keep alternating between step 1 and step 2 until you are satisfied.

Step 4: Time to add some color. Go to Layer>New Adjusment Layer>Hue/Saturation

Step 5: Click ok for the first window that pops up, then in the 2nd window, click "Colorize" and adjust the colors. Saturation decides how strong the color is, lightness decides how bright the picture is, and hue decided what color it is.

Step 6: Click ok and now your picture is colorized. But now you want some text so, Set your text to either white or black, whichever one looks better on your background. If you want some fonts, you can get 1000 fonts from here.

Step 7: Now time for some text blending, right click your text layer and duplicate it. Then with your copied text layer, go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur and set it to 2 pixels. Now go to "Layer>Flatten Image" Congratulations, you now have an abstract sig!
