This is probably the easiest form of Web Site work you can get. Photoshop allows you to convert a graphic to a Dreamweaver Web layout. This process is called slicing, and most people know about it. Maybe we can talk about the different ways you slice a layout. Maybe some code that will center it perfectly? Or maybe the transfer over to Dreamweaver, and integration purposes.

Most people actually dont really like slicing but personally I dont know slices way to much so who am I to say. I suppose if you get good at slicing it can really come in handy.

Slicing is good if you are into web design. Say you like to make layouts, you'll need to have to learn how to slice, otherwise you can be in a lot of trouble. I know how to slice, as I tried out some tests layouts, and they came out pretty good.

Slicing is a great way to make a site - however if you do the whole site like this it can be very large (kb) I tend to make designs with blocks of colours in them that I dont need the slice for - so you dont need that particular part of the image to display how it should - I found this cuts down on file size.

Slice it and you can adjust the images to smaller size for background or something... All the website I've done are below 15KB, which I always trying to save people's bandwidth and my bandwidth as well. LOL~!

Yep I always try to keep the size down due to the 7 second rule - if the page isnt loaded in 7 seconds people lose interest.
