This is probably a question you have never heard before but how would you make a language? i have been wondering for some time.I am not talking about spanish or anything like that i am talking about a programming language.

lol have fun righting your own computer language, i think this would be fun to do but also very hard.it would be easy once you memorized everything though as you should probably know it best if you wrote it.

lol, yah it would be something to do when your really bored as it would take a long time to do and stuff, but in the end it might be worth it.

I don't think it is soemthing you can just do when your bored. It takes time and energy, and money to build a language. If you are actually serious about it you need to commit yourself to it.

That's exactly why i would do it when i am bored because i will be commited duh... LOL.

I know this is old, but.. You could create a hybrid XHTML-type language with XML. I use one for my websites.. But really, it's unnecessary. I do it cos I like clean code. Heh.

To write an actual programming language, you need some kind of interpreter for your own language, a compiler, a debugger, etc. which would usually be written in C or some such.

yah for some reason it seems to me that all the other languages were written using C.so were they?

You need to kno some of the high languages like Pascal, C, C++, Ada, Basic so as to make a new programming language. It is not easy my friend. It is never so easy like making a website. If you can learn or kno these languages, then you hav a nice chance of creating yer own programming language.
