I started ipodfanz.com about a month ago and its been going pretty good, i want to ad banners on to the top of my forum but how do i go about it?

i found a php hack that lets me add banners in admin panel and randomly rotates them on the header of the forum where i have placed the code.

How much should i expect to make or charge per week, or month to put someones banner on there? How many banners do you think i should rotate?

New to this as i have only ever used google adsence or adbrite programs before and not really made much from them.

Thanks for any advice.

As your forum is so new, I'd say $5-10 per month for one banner depending on your visitors. You should have maxmimum of 5 banners in rotation at early stage to get adviews for advertisers.

By ad picker what do you mean? Just a script that will rotate the ads for you, or something that does contextual advertising?

If it is going good, I think you should make it $20.00 per month. There are many sites out there that will even pay more than that if your website is gaining a lot of members!

Try using phpAdsNew. its really good.
as for the price, it depends on the number of unique visitors and page impressions. Maybe you can show these stats from you r stat program to your advertisers, just to convince them.
