How do you all get staff? What do you fo to get them? What do you offer or what contract(IMO) do they have to agree too?

i get to know all my staff before i actually give them the position. i started out with a gmod who i already knew.

I was new member to a G-Mod in under 10min, Now i'm an admin

Anyway, I think i'll be a little picky this time round with my new forum!
I think I'll just stay with PureEvil as admin and make all new mods only mods on forums not G-Mods

Like PureEvil mentioned, i usually get to know my moderators [so i know i can trust them etc]
I have a moderator application form on my site, where members can apply for available positions. In return they have given certain access that the standard registered member would not get.

In my previous experiences, the Forum Administrator would learn to trust and feel safe with his/her Forum in their hands. If I had members in my Forum (LOL) I would observe the contrubutions on and off the Forum with posting and reffering duties.

You have 7 mods for 69 members. One of the sites that I'm a part of has committed the same mistake. Its something you should not change now and risk losing some faithful users. Good luck!

william becoming mod was actually a mistake, as he registered with a fake birthdate and the same username as somebody else, when i had already told them that i would let them be a mod. my board was kind of a short project just for something to do when i was bored. i think i'm going to get rid of it somehow.

I choose active, kind, and intelligent members of my forums, who have been around and deserve the position. I don't believe in Moderator Applications. If someone requests to be a Moderator, I feel as though they're more concerned about power then they are the forum, which is not what I want.

All my staff work for free.

I interview all of my staff. I like to get to know the people whom I hire as staff.

Just get some of your friends who's also interested...just make sure they're not bigger than you lol
