When my forum started out, it was meant to be ecclectic and co-ed. The initial theme was a "meeting place" of sorts for people to just share odd news and let their hair down. The forum grew, but it seems to cater to one, specific group of people.

As a result, I have begun to make subtle changes, but I'm having a difficult time turing the forum around. The forum is still pretty new, only been up since the very end of July, but I'd like to see if flourish.

Any ideas?

It was my idea based on the fact that some of the main posters like to post racially insensitive threads. My forum is meant to be multi-cultural and I wanted to quell any negative tones that lingered.

Hi,

Well you could first start to change the whole theme of the forum and start to change forum headers. Try to make a few topic pointing to the direction you want the forum to go it.

You could also close the forum for a few days to add a few threads an post in relation to the new way of the forum?

Those are good ideas. I've already started to make some changes along those lines...I'll just continue and hopefully things will pick up again.
