Is running a forum really profitable? In your opinion how long(month) do you have to run your forum to start making decent profits?

Hi,

A forum can be very profitable if you get it out onto the market. You need to make sure you have a lot of traffic and members before you start to see the money.

You can also see ad space on your site to get more money in.

Problem is sometimes regular forum member doesn't click

but you don't need members to click an ad to make money!

You can do pageviews etc

Yeah... Pageviews work well. Mine turn over a small profit, but 90% of all profit must go back into the sites, for their own good.

I gave up with google adsense when they banned my account. I don't think it's good for a paid webhost to have ads anyway IMHO
