Hi all,
I am looking for some photo gallery software for my website that I can customize to a point. I would like to have basically an automated process where pics are uploaded, then a generic name is assigned for the photo set, that someone from the front page can come, put in that name in a input box, and go directly to that photo set.

It can be PHP, XML, whatever, but hopefully somewhat easy for me to change the look of the pages. I am SOMEWHAT comfortable with editing those php files, but not a lot.

Thanks, I look forward to those links. I am considering trying to manipulate Gallery software to work how I want.

have you tried gallery2 or coppermine gallery scripts??

I am going to try the gallery2 software. Have you worked with it? How much can I customize? What about coppermine? I ran across it, but didn't look at it too much.

Right now, I use the gallery stuff for some family pics.

Have you looked at hotscripts? You might find something nice and easy there.
