If you are a freelancer, fill out this form... just a few random questions I came up with. I'll start:

Specifically, what do you do? 95% of my contract work is creating vBulletin modifications/addons.
Hours a day? I usually work about 6 hours a day, though that is excluding building other websites for myself, etc.
Work at home? If so do you have an office? Yes at home... currently I just have a giant desk/computer setup which has taken over my room. No dedicated work room yet, though I think that would improve my focus.
Scheduling? If so, does it help you? I will say no, though a new contract I started requires me to work certain hours. I used to work from around dinner to 3am sometimes; definitely not a good work schedule! For about a week I tried working regular business hours, but I could not handle it. My creativity usually spikes after midnight, as does my focus (not a single distraction), but in the morning I have much more stamina and feel refreshed. However, on my new schedule (8am to 1pm on one contract, then work on whatever) I notice I get a lot more done in that time, because I know I'm supposed to be working.
Music/IM while working? OK so IM can be distracting, but I find music relaxing and it feels weird to have nothing on. I'll usually listen to something relaxing like The Eagles, The Beatles or some nice jazz while working. IM... I'm naughty, yes. I find myself going (appear) offline more and more though.
Education? Did it help? High school graduate (recent). I am still considering going to univeristy in a year or two, but for now I am doing fine without it.
How busy/popular are you with clients? Very busy. I guess it is nice in the sense of a steady income, but I actually preferred it when I could choose what I wanted to do. Sure I can turn them down, but that's like turning down money (wait, it is!)
Future Expansion? I'm actually trying to move away from freelancing, to do the whole "make money while you sleep" deal. Of course it will be a long and smooth transition. Hoping to start up a few websites and build a few more products to sell. Sure the initial investment is costly (even if just taking time) but I think it is worth it in the long run. I will continue to freelance all year for sure, possibly longer.
Do you like your job? Definitely! I would never in a million years go work somewhere else. The freedom is the best part.
Do you do this full time? Yes. Though that is including other online sources of income.

Looking forward to your answers.

what do you do? Full website design's & custom made CMS's,
Hours a day? I am currently living at a ski resort on a working holiday. I have put my life on hold to enjoy something i love while im young.
Work at home? If so do you have an office? I couldnt live witout my laptop.
Scheduling? If so, does it help you? No, Unless a customer wants something done by a certain time. My clients usually understand the scope of the project and give me some slack.
Music/IM while working? No, IM. Only email. I find that IM is a distraction as you said and that email/phone is a better form of communication.
Education? Did it help? High school graduate. Its who you know not what you know...
How busy/popular are you with clients? I have only had to offer support to my customers a handfull of time while i have been away which has been good. I am working on a project of my own.
Future Expansion?World domination. Professional poker play?
Do you like your job? Theres something amazing about looking outside at the snow falling, sipping on some egg nog and making money.
Do you do this full time? No, I do not have a job at the moment. I have saved up a substantial amount and have been overseas for 7 months.

Specifically, what do you do? 30% of my time – my personal project (both design and programming), 40% ecommerce templates, 30% design and development of sites network for my old client So I do both php programming and desigm.
Hours a day? 8-10 hours
Work at home? Yes. I work now at home but planning to hire some people so I'm looking for office now
Scheduling? Yes. I have schedule but don't keep it all time
Music/IM while working? Yes some music, some podcasts, and IM all time
Education? Did it help? I don't have education not in design not in programming. I want to grow more as entrepreneur and as creative person so I'm going to take drawing courses first ( I can't do nice hand drawing after 5 years in design) and of course self education in business and web. Maybe some nice MBA courses when I will have spare time for this.
How busy/popular are you with clients? I don't looking for new clients and old clients still calling me often. So I can get twice more work as I have.
Future Expansion? Sure. I have at least 3 great projects but need resources for them so I have started from one for now.
Do you like your job? 101% definitely!
Do you do this full time? Yes, I quit my full day job almost year ago

Specifically, what do you do?
Small client sites... usually word of mouth from friends of friends.
I'm also employed full-time by an e-commerce firm, and run my own websites on top of all that

Hours a day?
12+... sometimes 20. i work too much

Work at home? If so do you have an office?
Yup. Even for my real job, i work from home 4/5 days a week.

Scheduling? If so, does it help you?
I do the 9-5 thing for the real job, and after that, its dinner, and whatever i feel like doing, or whatever project is in front of me in some shape or form until i go to bed or get tired of working.

Music/IM while working?
Always. I'm a last.fm whore

Education? Did it help?
I dropped out of college because I wasn't learning what I wanted to learn, and honestly, it was the smartest thing I ever did. IMO, a degree is worthless. Experience is what counts in our field.

I help my CEO hire new developers, and I usually don't even read their education or degrees. I look to see what they've DONE.
You can have a PhD in IS, but if you haven't worked with a real client before, or developed something on your own, you're a waste of my time.

How busy/popular are you with clients?
I usually turn down most of them. The majority of them aren't worth my time for what they want.

Future Expansion?
I'm wokring on building something i can sell to google for 200e023423 billion dollars

Do you like your job?
Yup. Make great money, and there's a sense of accomplishment when other's view what you have done.

Do you do this full time? Yes. Though that is including other online sources of income.
