Hello,

I am the webmaster of a church website and I am getting ready to publish. I have taked many precautions to preserve the protection of members because the parents of some youth are concerned. I have added a script that allows no right-clicking and another that allows nothing to be selected, so the users cannot simply highlight a picture and CTRL + C it. I know this is a novice problem, but your help would be greatly appreciated.

THE QUESTION: How can I keep any and everyone from viewing my index of images? I don't want people to be able to get into it that way.

Also, if you have any other advise on picture protection, just let me know, I will greatly appreciate it!

If you mean you want to protect the directory with the images in...

Just create a blank file and save it as index.htm and upload it into the directory

This way when someone goes to the directory they will just see the balnk file..

I'm not exactly sure as to what you mean and how you are supposed to do it. Also, the server is a Webs4Christ.com server, so I have no direct control over anything involving it.

Im quessing you meant you want it so that when someone goes to the folder with all your pictures they wont be able to view the list of all the images..

If so just open notepad or any text editor and then goto save and save it as index.htm...

Then you need to put this into the folder with your images by however you upload your files... (FTP or web control panel)
