Hi there,

I was wondering how I could add my own additional site to vbulletin?

I have a forum about affiliates, and I have made a affiliate review script. Now I want to include it to my VB site, so that users of the board can add comments to the diffrent affiliateprograms, rate them and stuff, with their forum users (I don't want to seperate user databases).

What Im now wondering is, is there a code sniplet or something I can add to my site, to verify that the user is logged inn? And is there a code that tells what usersgroups a member is part of?

If you need an example, this entire site is a good one!

There are a few options.

vbadvanced.com has some options to be able to create custom pages - you would need to add some of their code to your own php page and then take it from there. If you read their docs, there are instructions in there.

Alternatively, you would need to edit your own php script to include the vBulletin global.php file. This would then open up your script to be able to use a lot of the vbulletin code within it. You would be able to identify if the user is logged in, what their username etc is using the $vbulletin object which you now have access to from the global.php include.

Hope that helps.

I'll second that - I use vbadvanced and it does a great job creating additional pages.
