I'm hoping that someone might be able to advise me on the following.

I'm trying to design a site that has text links to other pages within my site e.g contact, home, images etc....

What I'm trying to achieve is an effect of the text slightly moving from side to side when the mouse is rolled over the link text......Does that make sense??

This is probably not the most optimum way, but you can put a textfield object on the stage and then lay an invisible button over it. The button won't hurt the text, but when you roll over the button you can manipulate the XY of the textfield.

Just use some actionscript for that. if you use it the novice way iam sure you'll be able to figure out. I don't know the codes so right out of my head cause iam not a real Flash fan. But if you aren't able to find out yourself i'll paste the codes here.
