I suppose this is the dreaded first post by someone asking for help, but I'm at my wits end. Started a new job recently and foolish told them I could make a website if I had to. Lo and behold, second day in and they ask me to make one for them. When I said I could make a website I meant something small, but think I've bitten off more than I can chew at this stage.

Made a website in photoshop (yeah..I know!) and tried to use image ready and fireworks to slice it up but since my skills with internet are rather limited I've been doing my nut in for the last two weeks on it. Posting here is an abolsute last resort.

So I was hoping to get someone here who could turn the psd into css and html for me? Just need the basic page done and I can take it from there. I of course dont expect it done for free so I will pay you via paypal from my own pocket.

It's nothing fancy, honestly. Just can't seem to get it working myself.

I simply would say you need a good webdesigner ;-)

Sorry, but it is impossible to design a business website without just knowing about the very basics of HTML. There is so much of background knowledge and experience required (e.g. search engine friendly design, consideration of different web browser versions, layout, ...).

I would explain the situation to your employer. Guess they understand and hire a professional instead of letting you create a website that is far away from being representative for their business.

If you want to take it over by yourself, look around the Internet for services selling ready-to-use website layouts you simply need to fill with contents.

I also suggest you check out www.kalinawebdesigns.com. I've used them on a few occasions. They usually do templates, but I'm sure they can likely do plain psd to html also.
