There are two main methods of pricing web design.
The first method, which I use, is to offer "packages," or even just a set list of services, at set prices for the people to see. A general amount is about $600 for a five page site, and the price can go down to as low as $250 if the site comes with a template layout rather than a custom one. I charge $500 for a five page site with a fully customized layout, but many companies use templates instead because of the great amount of time it saves.
The second method is to put a "contact us for a quote" form. You'll see fields for name, business type, etc... followed by a budget field that contains values in the five digit range.
Why the huge price difference between the two types of websites? Well, the first type, which is more common, is for small business websites. For a five page site, a ten page site, or even a twenty page site, that's all you need. But if you're looking to build huge, lasting relationships with corporations that are going to need hundred page sites, go with option B and make 'em fill out a form.
Based on your packages, I'd say...
Basic - $500 custom/$300 template
Stand - 5 - 15 pages is a big range... it's hard to give a SINGLE estimate, since a six page site is less than half the size of a 15 page site, and it would seem unfair to charge $1000 for the 6th page... $850 sounds fair...
pro - 15 - 30 pages - $1,200 sounds good (with custom layout, of course... but for a 30 page site they're probably going to want something custom anyway).
