I lost my Dreamweaver and Frontpage software and my computer has gone awol, so I bought a new one, but I cannot now afford to buy this software again, any ideas on where to download FREE WYSIWYG Editor similar to Frontpage. Please help.

I hope to buy Frontpage when I complete my web design project (freelance).

Thanks.

If you still have the documentation for your previous version of dreamweaver, like registration code and proof of purchase etc, you should be able to work something out to get a copy of the software. Mybe you should give macromedia a mail and see what they say. I wouldnt worry about the frontpage software though.....

Try this one: 1st Page 2000 2.0 http://www.evrsoft.com/1stpage2.shtml

Or go to http://www.tusafe.com/nonags/htmledit.html and check out the entire list. I perfer checking with http://www.nonags.com/ cause I know that the software I get there is free of 3rd party stuff unlike getting it off google. Liz

I'm sure i posted this link before. Anyways this is a cool peice of kit that allows you to add images fonts it even does a spell check (NIX orientated that bit though if i remember right).

Its free simple to get going (simple-ish then) and gets many a man of your back (now you dont need to be a technical editor too).

A high quality tool can save you many, many hours, thereby saving/making you money when you create sites. When you get up and running again, go out and secure a gig that pays about $400. Finish the job and INVEST your money into a good program like Dreamweaver!!

Until then, I second HTML Kit.

I've used NVU (http://nvu.com/) and found it to work really well. You may want to give it a try.
