hi,
i have five buttons on my navigation bar. there are 200px wide each.

i want to know how to make five buttons fit properly on all resolutions.
for example, on 1024 x 768 the five buttons show perfectly. but on 800 x 600 only four buttons show.

so can i make the buttons fit nicely (100%).

i also want the buttons to be 1px away from each other so they're not stuck together or miles apart.

thank you.

200px wide x 5 = 1000px - that's the MINIMUM you're going to get, so if you shrink the screen to 800px, there's no choice but to show only 4 or drop the last button below the rest.

Not likely to happen if you choose to use a static image for your button. If you use relative widths with a small REPEATING background for the button, then you'll have better luck.

1px between buttons.. you'll have to use margin/padding on the
and the to control spacing.

Unless the actual button needs to be 200px, for images, text or whatever, then you can use percentages. In your case set the width to 20%
