I love Photoshop CS2, so when I (eventually) get CS3 (or 4 depending on how long I wait) I'm going to miss some things probably. PS makes it easier to view all the layers. My best friend uses PSP and I can't see how that interface is in anyway conducive to doing serious work xD

Yes. I used to use PSP, and quite frankly I hated it. It had a terrible interface, along with extremely minimal options for filters/effects and the such.
A lot of resources and whatnot come in .psd forms, and photoshop just seems more widely used. I want to see what painter can do (I know it's more for art...) just in term of creating some interesting headers. I use photoshop CS currently. It's just more easy to work with.
