I'm new to web site building but doing well with mine so far.
Now I'm stuck trying to find information on how to make a simple mailing list for my site.

All I want is to be able to let someone subscribe (by entering their email address only) via a small form on the web page. Then I would like to be able to send out an email to all the users from time to time. I don't want them to be able to mail each other via the list. I also would like to allow them an easy automated way to unsubscribe from the list also. Thats it, sounds simple but I'm stuck trying to do it.

My hosting company provides Mailman but if its possible to set it up for this I havn't figured it out yet.

Any advice would be helpful.

I would send an email to your host. I imagine they would be obliged to help you setup mailman. I have read that mailman is the easiest to use
