I'm a webdesigner for a personal site, but I always get stuck on the navigation. I never know what I should go with, Javascript Roll overs, Flash Navigation, or simply CSS backed Hyperlinks, maybe others? I've been contacted by a few people saying that my flash nav isn't showing up for them, probably since they don't have the Flash Player. I need an idea as to what a good nav would be for my site, and yet still maintain high compatibility with other's systems. If anyone has any good ideas for navs that they've had success with please let me know, I want to implement the new nav before adding more pages.

Javascript or CSS all the way imho. I'd never use Flash for buttons and i have a couple of reasons for that:

1. Not compatible for everyone, some people don't have the plugin, some don't want too either.
2. People want to surf as quick as possible usually, they don't have time for your special button over animations.
3. Searchengines aren't able to spider your whole site.
4. Mostly slower, etc

Like said, just use js, or css it's easy, loads fast (if used right) is highly compatible, gets spidered and so on.
