I have recently created one of the simplist wb site designs possible. Just using a sliced graphic as a background and a single iframe where the pages are displayed.

I have deleted the slice in the centre and put in the iframe code and i intend to use the slice i removed as the bacground for all my pages so it just looks like the text is scrolling and not the background.

Im sure you know the kind of design i mean.

The only problem is that the background in the iframe is slighty out, meaning that the background scrolls and looks horrible.

i made sure that the dimensions of the iframe and the dimensions of the slice it was replacing were the same but it hasnt solved the problem.

Please help

here it is, you can see that the vertical alignment isn't quite right because it is slighty too low and part of the grey background is showing through.

You should have that background fixed:

<background="fixed"> or

<bg properites="fixed"> or

<body background="xxx.jpg" behavior="fixed">

I don't know if that's an option on i-frames, cause iam never using one since they are highly incompatible, especially with older browsers

that hasnt really made any difference, but thanks for the suggestion.

The background of the iframe is the background of the page that loads into it and the problem is that it doesnt line up like it with the rest of the graphic like it should do.

I know that it is possible because i have seen a site that uses it but i couldnt view the source code
