i want to start a web site but i need to learn some things so i would really like it if some one could give me a couple of links on everything i need to do to start a site

What is your background? You have any programming experience? If so, I would look into MVC Frameworks like Ruby on Rails, Django, or Qcodo.

the only thing i know is html i am great at creating the myspace back grounds, and i create layouts for games that i play that have back grounds. thats about it i am wanting to create a web site. and here is s list of what i would like to start with
