I would like to find out the HTTP referer information of a page.

I don't have access to page stats/logs so would need some other way of getting the URL of the page that contains the link. Due to frames and/or the way the application works it seems I cannot just use the address in the address bar of the browser or do a right click properties.

Any ideas?

I don't know how it works in other server-side languages, but in PHP it is accessed through the $HTTP_REFERER variable.
