Hi guys im trying to slice a photoshop image into a layout to then make into a website( i know this isnt the best way to create a website but its the only method i know) here is were I am currently at

notice all the blank space to the right...how to i get rid of that..either buy forcing a a resize of hte page or by actually making it the right size....any help wouldbe great.

Well different people are going to see it differently. Maybe you are looking for a CSS Liquid Layout?

Well, the FIRST thing you need to do is put proper DOCTYPE on your pages.
Second would be to dump the tables for layout and learn CSS for your layouts.

css seems to be a key word on these forums I will deff need to learn it, is there a way to do it easily? like for my specific problem of orientation on my page ( listed in my first post)

I was trying to figure that out too. You have to turn your banner, where it says Midnight Studios, into a background. You have to make a table and put the background in there. And adjust it using html code to cover the entire table from left to right, filling in the black spaces.

No tables necessary, the background can be easily accomplished with CSS !
