I`ve noticed that when an extremely oversized image is resized by the browser (which you shouldnt really do anyway) Firefox, IE and the rest degrade the image. (Aspect ratio unchanged/ just the overall size).

However Chrome seems to resize and render the JPEG in perfect clarity.
Havent tried it in other image formats and haven`t tried resizing up (doubt that would work) but I just thought it was interesting.

Since Google is touting its "open source" credentials, hopefully the other browsers will catch on to whatever software magic Chrome has incorporated.

This sounds very interesting... I'm going to have to try to get this to happen for me so I can see it in action

Slightly off-topic...but has anyone noticed that Chrome also seems to have kind of choppy flv playback? It seems to be that way to me...

I did not notice this, but I love Chrome anyways.

Chrome is pretty sweet except for the fact that the theme looks pretty lame
