I have been asking everywhere, but to no avail. I have a page that I'm using as the template for all my pages. I created the design in photoshop, and then exported from image-ready. I am working in dreamweaver, and am creating this page using dreamweaver MX. Now I have a cool looking page divied up into table format, but I want to put text overtop. I don't know how to make this work. I've tried the following:
Rather than inserting the graphics into the cells, I tried using the image as background in the cell and then having the option to type directly in the cell. When I preview the page, the graphic doesn't show up.
I tried putting a layer over top then using that layer to input text, but I can't get the layer to stay centred aligned with the top of the appropriate cell. I have used a dreamweaver extension called snap layers, but the layer is still shifting, and then sometimes shifts again when I refresh the page.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have two links:
This one is to the page with the graphic set as cell background image:

This one is to the page with the layer centred and anchored to the same cell as above:

(If either of these pages work, can you also let me know???)
