I guess I'm having a little trouble with it. I never used CSS before at all so I've been slowing chipping away at the "Whitewash" template to make it look somewhat like my site. If I can at least have my logo and a way to easily link it back to my website, that would be great.

My primary website is in HTML (something I never used before three weeks ago either) and I'm still learning.

So far, does anyone have any suggestion, tips or feedback on the blog itself or how to get it to look more like my website? My site is very simple so the modifications I need are very minimal.

Just on looks it's Bland and unintrestings. Try wiping it with some stock images. Code wise, it's ok but a bit on indentation never goes a miss (makes it nicer to debug problems).

How ever the 2 pages compared are completely different. Make the layout the same and also clean up the code on greenandchic.com.

Some stock images is a great idea.

The fact that both pages are completely different is the problem that I'm aware of. I'm brand new to HTML and CSS so I dont know how to really make one page look like the other. If Wordpress supported HTML it would make my life easier...

A bit offtopic but nevertheless an advice.

You should consider taking a different kind of green. This muddy green doesn´t really identifies with you keywords clean personal care products.
I would choose a more darker green instead of this one.
