I came across this website Globrix.com which I think has a very nice design and it is great the way it works.

Does anyone know how this website was build. I would like to build something similar.

looks like it is made with PHP and AJAX, they probably used a PHP framework. It could also be Ruby on rails, but I doubt it for some reason.
