What CMSs Would You Recommend?

In my (fairly limited) experience with content management systems, I have found WordPress very polished and easy to use. Other more general purpose ones, such as Drupal, seem a lot less polished.

In your experience, what CMSs have you found comparable to WP in terms of ease of use, but that are designed for more than just blogging?

Thanks!

I suggest you use XOOPS, www.xoops.org, that was my first cms, very easy to use and they have just released a new version. If you need additional functionality, you will have to install additional modules downloaded from their website.

I have been using joomla for a while but recently switched to DRUPAL it is alot more elegant and easier to administer. They have many useful modules / themes that can be easily customized.

Wordpress is the best if you want basic static pages and a blog. CMSMS is also a good one.

If you want advanced functionality, you should try using Drupal. It is being used on MTV, some NASA sites and some other popular websites.

e107 is great system as I hear, but it takes a lot of time to learn. But once you learn how to use it, it's one of the most powerful CMS on earth, but I have yet to learn how to use it.
