Our website uses dreamweaver. I have to make some deletions and additions on the list of titles on the left side of the home page. Right now there is home page, contact us, image gallery, etc. etc.

I am a rookie when it comes this. Where do I start?

Where do you start ? Open the home page in Dreamweaver. Find the things you want to delete - then be VERY careful that you delete ONLY the code for those things.

Make sure you have a backup of the file before you mess with it.

This is a major prob occur after making a site in DW by a newbie who don't know web designing.

I think you directly start learning DW not learn the basics of web designing. If you know the basics then you never ask this Q.

I would read a book or look into learning some dreamweaver skills, knowing the basics of what you can achieve without deleting completely the wrong thing will help.

That is very important. I often regret about it, sometimes I can not go back to it was before, and sometimes the program was break down without save files.

It is so simple. Save a copy of the page and open in DW. Open the split view and select the home item that you need to delete in the Design view. You will see the code view highlighted. Select and delete it
