Hello,
I am woundering how you can hide the progress & address bar from a window popup.
I have a link on a page, when you click it a popup window appears with no resizing, no scrolling and no menu bar but i can't find out how you hide the progress bar and address bar?

I tried these:
addressbar=false; progressbar=false;

I'm on a Vista Laptop and some of these work on my Windows XP Computer

Any Solutions?
Please help!

some browsers block "chromeless" windows.

"popup" windows without "chrome"

eg: no title bar, no menu bar, no address bar, no status bar

IE 7+, FF 2+, all installs of Chrome, plus new Opera and I'd assume Safari all require an address bar, and refuse not to show it. That's a non trivial security breach. Think phishing, etc.

But if you've got .NET and C#, it's less than an hour's work to piggy back on the IE rendering engine and build your own web browser with no address bar. Getting people to use it is a wee bit harder.
