If it looks 'right" in IE and not in Firefox, then it's IE getting it WRONG - as usual

No way to know what's going on now w/o seeing code.

There's something wrong with your code. Firefox and IE has different behavior but you need to do a way to fix it.

Because many codes and behaviour are not supported by Fire Fox. But it works better in IE.

When I set out to design pages using FF as my development browser, I regularly discover that my best-bright ideas look better when drawn incorrectly in IE. I've given up worrying on it now and I often just buy into the IE "revisioning". As Peewee Herman used to say: "I meant to do that!"

YARGGGG!!!
My eyes !

No, firefox supports more than IE.
But Microsoft choose to make IE to depend on their own "standards" to force windows and office adoption.

Thus, something designed to IE will break in every other browser.
In EVERY other browser.

Do the thing right for the majority (IE: w3c compliant and DOM based) and then rip your hairs off trying to have IE behave the way you want.

You've got to figure if IE displays what you want, and Firefox doesn't, and Opera doesn't, and Safari doesn't, you're coding for buggy behavior, instead of proper behavior.
