Editing files in filezila.

In filezilla i set all files that I want to edit to open in coffeecupfreehtmleditor and it works but for some reason only when i want to open a .html file it opens in the browser not in the html editor. So i cant edit it. Whuch is a real pain. How can i fix this?

You don't. You open your HTML editor and open the files from there.

Control Panel --> Folder Options --> File Associations tab

You then change the URL, .htm, .html associations. But you really don't want to do that. They're supposed to open with your default browser unless you open them up in your editor. I think if you change that you'll find it to be more of a pain.

You get that open with dialog, and choose to open with filezilla.

I dont want to change what it opens in for the computer I want to make it so when I right click a file on my server using filezilla and click view/edit it opens in the program I have specified it to in the filezilla properties. Just for some odd reason its opening in my browser instead of the program I told filezilla to open all files in.

in version 2 Edit -> Settings -> File viewing / editing -> Browse ...

in version 3 Edit -> Settings -> File editing -> Browse ...
