Hi,

I have a webcam, my own website and a broadband connection. I was thinking of having some fun and put all three together to have webcam images from my camera on my own site. There seems to be a lot of software out there, some free, some paid for. Can anyone recommend some software and or the best way to do it.

Well I didn't get much response here to my question but just in case someeone else comes this way with a simliar question I'll leave an update:

I found some very useful free software that can load webcam images to my web site via FTP. It can also save images to the PC hard drive and has motion detection capability as well as text and image overlay. I'm still experimenting with the motion detection bit. It should also be able to email me if motion is detected but so far I've not got that to work. For free software it's very flexible in what you can do with it. It's available here:
