i have already one web site but its not good so i want to redesign my web site again so i want to know what i have to know make good web site and what are the latest software to make good web site

You need a graphics program to DESIGN it.
All you need to CODE it is notepad - and that means you must learn HTML and CSS.

Choose the popular color(s), and compatible DIV design.

As LadynRed already said LEARN HTML and CSS. Don't get depending on front page , dreamweaver and the rest of that kind of software. Half the posts you see on webmaster type forums is people that don't understand the code on their own site.

Just like LadynRed and OleTom have already mentioned, open up Notepad and start coding/learning in html and css. I made the mistake of using Dreamweaver and Frontpage many years ago and looking at some of my old code, I cannot believe how much rubbish was in there.

Start off with the basics and I'm sure you will start to pick things up

you should be engage with web with an idea to create your own and creative design of website you can use flash,photoshop,css and java scrip for website design.

Photoshop will be good for your graphics and if you dont really know how to code html dreamweaver might help you. Don't know what you will do if you don't know css. You should learn atleast HTML & CSS. These two are very important for web design.

You can't make a good site if you don't have enough knowledge on designing. I would suggest to learn more things about it and it will help a lot.

i would suggest learning html/css first, then a graphic software, as when i first started out, i found it difficult to design a website without knowing/understanding what could actually be done in a website.

You can try to use web design software like dreamweaver. It's easy even for anewbie..

You may take help of dreamweaver for html coding.
But it is better to type html tags on notepad and view the progressive changes in the browser. This way you will remember and have command on coding.

Using softwares for coding will add unnecessary extra coding.

Online tutorials are best sources for designing and coding of web pages.

To make a good looking website you need a graphics design program like Adobe Photoshop. You need something to code it in, I usually use Programmers Notepad and you need to learn HTMl & CSS.

Ok Ill try in that way, it makes sense to me now, I just want to get the easier way, in terms not to commit mistakes and make double work. But HTML is not so difficult for learning? I don’t know but I have in mind that coding and those things are really complicated aren´t them?.

make the right choice for the Web Publishing software: if you have a plain site with lot of pages, then choose an editor that can manage page sets and links fast. If database-generated, choose something with built-in DB interface and so on...; this will save you a lot of time later; plan ahead.

You need to learn html,css,flash ,web standards etc.as all information is in net its very easy to learn these things
