Hi all

I have a website which has Terms and Conditions. I have stated that they are subject to change (that is pretty much the wording i used). If I now change it, will the people who have agreed to my original, be bound to the new version. I am hoping the answer is yes!

Thanks

Depends on your local regulation.

Where I live, it's considered as a contract terms update, and the participants must approve the changes again. IE: the contract must be re-presented to them, and they must accept it again.
If not, it's not considered valid in front of the law, and you are at fault.

Well.. since you did say the terms are bound to change, that means that when you make the new terms people have the option to accept them or refuse them as with the current terms.

Update them and show the users the new terms (and changes in bold). That way they can agree to them by staying with you, or deny them and leave.

People, ie. clients should always be informed of new changes of any websites especially with its Terms and conditions to avoid miscommunication and disputes with them.
