I have my site files based on a template, and when I updated the template, it change the font of every page, and more importantly, changed the character spacing and I can't figure out how to fix this. So... how change I change the character spacing of the text in dreamweaver? Thanks.

Well In my version of DW it's

Edit -> Preferences -> Fonts though the character spacing would be whatever based on whatever the OS it is running on determined it should be.

Also, with this, are you giving your templates or html pages any type of css style themeing?

Or is everything just defaulting to a default font? Because if you don't give it a specific font in the html file or in a css file it self then it is going to resort back to default and this could be the main problem you are experiencing.
