I believe in the people here as everyone is very knowledgeable about coding and websites.

What I am looking to do is find a script or an idea of what type of coding it would be to do this:

I am wanting to take a house for an example, and be able to have a user click on a color and the house changes color. Say for an example a paint website. So if someone wants to see what a house would look like red, they click red, the house turns red, or blue, green or whatever.

So I am looking to see what I can do to make something like this work. I am not sure if it is java or ajax coding to make something like this work.

What you want is a script that will toggle an element, which would need to be either JavaScript or CSS. You do not need ajax, because as some people do not know, ajax is not a language. It is a series of JavaScript commands.

But at any rate, you will need either css or javascript. I would personally recommend css, seeing that it does not rely on the user to have the right settings on their browser, like JavaScript does. So you may want to do a search for css, or a search for JavaScript.
