Hello!

I'm new to this forum so hello everybody!
First off, I'm not very good at making pages.

Second, my problem is related to the layout of the page and its about Iframes in Layers.
Hope this is the right forum to ask.

I'm using Dreamweaver and my problem is I want Iframes in two different layers.

It's working but for some reason, the layers end up beneth eachother then I open the page.

Here are two pictures that will explain it:

This is a screenshot from DW, I got the two layers side by side.

And here are a screenshot on how it ends up in my browser.

Does anyone know why it behaves like this?

Don't use "align" on the divs, FLOAT them.

Why are you using iframes in the first place ?

Okey so I removed the left align and I manage to get them side by side.
But they end directly side by side. I got a few pixels between my layers.
Why whount the iframe stay in my layer?

I'm using it couse I'm not very good at making pages.
I like the idea that you make a area using a layer, put a iframe in it and you can link too this area in a easy way.
And some pages "blinks" the whole page then clicking a link couse it reloads the whole page.

What else can I put in a layer?

First of all they are NOT LAYERS !! There is no such thing, that's an old Netscape holdover that should have died a long time ago.

Learn to code a page properly and you won't need frames or iframes. Iframes and frames are just BAD.

Of course someone knows - I've been building websites for over 10 years.
There is no one easy answer to your problem, there are a lot of things going on that can affect the layout of a page.

There's also no way any of us can debug such a thing without seeing ALL of the actual code - not a screenshot.

Yea i figured you had.

I have solved the problem and the page turned out the way I wanted it.
I realize that my way is a bad way to make a page.
If I want to change a image in my iframe, I have to change it in twelve different html files witsh sux.

But I'm happy anyways.

Thx for the replays, I guess I be back in the future with other questions.
