The design isn't bad and the colors work well together Raptrex, however, seeing as this is Typography site I would make the "Best Web Typography" a little more exciting, such as a different font, color. The faces on the characters need some improvement, the characters themselves are really cute, nice idea.

no time to go into details

change the color of the "next" and "previous" buttons and also the colors of the main menu. Also what the previous guy said, change the font to something more typographic

I agree with the others, menu text should be a bit lighter font. You probably wanted to make it more subtle. You don't have to make it absolute white though.

Maybe a gradient or two would make the design more cozy?

And yea, need to put some fancy typographic design into the main title for sure!

Lighter fonts is really needed for dark colored templates. But all in all, it is pretty good.

BTW, if this site will be optimized in the future, consider putting up a small amount of content on top of those thumbnails. Maybe a description or a little background about what the site is will do.

you centered everything on the page except for the nav, id center it..
add a gradient or 2.
the logo could defiantly use work

k heres an update on the design

well i changed a few things like added gold, redid the nav bar and previous/next links

also using lucida grande as the main font now, shows up a bit blury, crappy screenshot sorry

The color combination is nice but the whole thing is too dark for me. How about adding one more color, something bright and warm but of course it has to match the blues that you're using. Use the new color for the navigation bars so they'll stand out.

i think the background is a bit dark
you should try something more brighter and maybe a bit more fun color..
like...red maybe...not for overall background,but just a bit..to make your page more interesting..anyway,its a good page and i like it...

On the updated version, the navigation text color is still not light enough. Try a simple white
