So im trying to make a new website
i already have 2 so i have some knowlege
but this one illudes me

I want to make a website that is for local goups to go up there and make their on profile and post their own merchandise and sell it ont he site
and all i get is a small percentage of the sale
and also i want a bullentine board or what not so i can post dates and events

Can anyone help me out

or at least point me in the right direction

been looking at some shopping cart sscripts
and maybe combining that with just a membership script

but im not sure if that will let the people post their own products

Instead of trying to customize your own script. Go for CMS...
I recommend JOOMLA CMS and you can utilized SOBI component as directorial/posting platform. Community Builder (CB) component for membership management(profiling,private messaging,etc) and Fireboard component for your forum...That should be enough

If you hire the right people. Your website should be ready in few days.
