This is just a bit of market research I'm doing.
I'd really like to get into the field of webdesign, but I'm not quite sure how to go about it.
Obviously one needs the know how of webdesign, what else is there?
Any advice would be appreciated

You need to have a website.

First you need to have a website,then promote it online, try to get some work through freelancing.

Devote time regularly to it, slowly you will develop a business.
