I'm just wandering if there's a trick like this in "mouse-over"... where you mouse-over one of the element in the navigation bar so that the rest of the elements would be change... I made a sample just in case you have no idea of what I'm talking about Thanks

just some javascript to change the class of the other elements in a container.

actually you change all of them, then set the "active" one differently.

and having thought about it for two minutes, CSS should be able to handle that relatively simply.

HTML Code:
<style type="text/css">
/**
      Depending on your layout you may need
      to change the "ul li" to "ul li a", ect...
*/

#navbar ul li {
      background: #000000; /* Black */
}
#navbar ul li {
      background: #990000; /* ~Red */
}
</style>

Here's a post I replied to a little while ago. What the user wanted was slightly more complicated, though no doubt you could modify and simplify the code to work.

So something like - http://www.modtalk.co.uk/_site/code/...-on-hover-css/

Not exactly 100% smooth and you need the whatever:hover behaviour including to make it work in IE but it can be done

you will need to work with the languages javascript & css to accomplish this task.

Now are you using div's or td's for your navigation?
