I got a web homepage graphic with no code/html/css.
How do I find the person to cut up the images into html/css?
What's the usual protocol? Is it easy? I'm not a css guru.

Hello,
What you need to do is if you don't know how to slice the PSD and create it into validated xhtml/css code then you need to find a web developer that can do this for you.

There are probally several of them on the forum here that can help you but make sure that when you find one that they are legal and that you have assurance and are getting quality work.

www.csslicingguide.com The "traditional" way of slicing designs into chunks and creating elements just to hold them is not ideal for CSS layouts.

http://www.webmaster-talk.com/html-f...tml#post837229 One fine day I'll write up the "howto"

and, if you want to hire somebody post in the marketplace forum

Well this really depends on who you go through, which company you go through and where they are located.

Different company cost different, you can get one that charges an arm and a leg and you can get one that cost pennies but your quality will suffer.

You really need to do research and check around prices and check quality of work and see what works best for you.

there's a slice tool available in photoshop that allows you to quickly do so...

if you're only looking to turn an image into an html template i could also do that for a small fee...

if you're going to be doing lots of design/html work i recommend learning yourself though its good exp.

Actually, if you can't do that on your own you can hire someone to do that I think you can pay just a little for that..
