I'm new to flash and am having a hard time with a couple of things, i've decompiled this site, that i've been assigned to update [i dont have the original FLA file] and i'm trying to change the text of a link "Travel Agent Info" to something different like "Event Coordinator" the link comes up as a movie clip and i can't seem to figure out how to edit it from there. If anyone could help me i'd appreciate it, Thanks in advance.

If you don't have the original FLA file, I don't see how you can change that. That would be like wanting to separate the layers of an image that has already been converted to a jpg. You would need the PSD (or whatever) file AND program that created the image.

Google Sothink SWF Decompiler. It is free and can be used to decompile your .swf file into a .fla file. Im in the same boat as you. Just purchased a flash template last week and know I trying to figure out how to edit. Good luck!

You will require the .FLA to make changes to your flash file. However, there are programs out there that will decompress a .SWF file - however, this is deemed as a last resort, and can be a little messy.
