Hi, I know that if you are an ICANN Accretide domain registrar you have to give a long time notice of like 6 months to all current customers. So, my question is as follows:

I am a professional designer "always in competition with my self!"

I have done a lot of projects however very few xhtml websites. The downside is when I was new to offering services I did not care about the fact if I could use the website or project done in my portfolio and always left it open to the customer. Due to this fact I dont have a big portfolio like I could have. I am going to start offering services at around $300-$400 starting and go from there. My question is if I get too much work can I raise prices or do I need to give notice and wait? Are there business and regulations about this so you cant raise it from $400-$700 in a month?

I am launching as a company however want to start middle ground and gradually adjust prices to where I see the biggest impact of revenue.

Thanks!

If you want to have the freedom to raise prices when you want, you need to put a clause saying that into your contract. For example, if you are starting with a new client, and you forsee that you will raise the price in future, you should put something like:
The service fee is currently $400 per month and subject to change with 30 days notice.
