okay here goes...
i need someone to help me with this problem so if anyone can help that would be ace.

i'm using fireworks flash and dreamweaver

basically this is what i want to happen but i can't work out how to do it.

1. i have a singular circle jpeg in the middle of the page.
2. when people move onto the circle i want it to move up tp the top and then i need it to become a navigation bar which cascades down along the side of the page.
3. i have already created an animation of a circle (same specs as the original jpeg circle) move and become the nav bar
4. i just need to know how i can...
a) make the original jpeg of the circle seem to become the animated circle
b) apply the slices/hotspots to the animation after it has become my nav bar so that visitors can click on the nav bar after it has appeared and be taken to a different page

i know that sounds complicated...

the main problem i have is at the moment i have a page in fireworks that has the circle on it. this has a slice over it - the trigger. i have to have a target slice for the animation to appear in but the target slice has to take up the rest of the page which means it goes over the trigger slice aswell. i have sent the target slice to back and everything but whenever i have the two slices overlapping they won't actually do anything together... it works okay if i have a disjointed rollover that does not overlap but then the original image of the circle doesn't look as if it is the circle in the animation so it just looks like the circle jumps to another part of the page and then floats off to become my nav bar. does that make sense? i'm not worried about sorting out my nav bar hotspots yet...i just want to get the swap image behaviour sorted.... please help if you can...anyone...
